Harp Yoga
This program is for people affected by cancer (from diagnosis, during treatment and after treatment) including their family members and carers.
Join Alison Ware (Creative Arts Therapist and Certified Clinical Musician from HarpCare) and Jo Carroll (Yoga Instructor from 11:11 Health and Wellbeing) for a deeply calming yoga experience, where gentle movement meets the soothing sounds of the harp.
Harp Yoga blends a supported Yin Yoga practice with the meditative tones of harp music, inviting a deep sense of rest and release. Jo guides the session through slow, accessible postures using mats, chairs, and blocks, while Alison’s harp creates a tranquil atmosphere that transports participants to a deeper state of relaxation.
This 75-minute session is designed to ease tension, promote stillness, and encourage connection between the body and mind.
We encourage you to bring your own mat for comfort. Chairs and blocks will be provided.
No experience necessary.
It is essential that you register for every ENHANCE session you wish to attend before you attend and receive confirmation. This is to ensure the safety and welfare of all participants, CCACT staff, and session facilitators.
If you are not registered, unfortunately staff will have to turn you away from the session. Please register to avoid disappointment.
Sessions are opened monthly.
Check back here on the 2nd last Friday of this month, for next month's sessions.
