Guided Drawing & Mindfulness

6/8/2025

This program is for people who have/had cancer (from diagnosis, during treatment and after treatment) and their carers.

Our Guided Drawing & Mindfulness sessions are designed to provide a creative and relaxing outlet for individuals impacted by cancer. Research shows that art-based practices like guided drawing can improve cognitive function and quality of life.

In a supportive, group environment, you’ll follow a step-by-step video activity that will guide you to create your own unique art to take home with you. The sessions also incorporate mindfulness techniques to help promote focus and relaxation, support emotional wellbeing and reduce stress.

Each two-hour session is facilitated by a member of our Supportive Care Team in a welcoming setting.

All drawing materials will be provided. No experience necessary.

It is essential that you register for every ENHANCE session you wish to attend before you attend the session. This is to ensure the safety and welfare of all participants, CCACT staff and session facilitators. If you are not registered, unfortunately staff will have to turn you away from the session. Please register to avoid disappointment.
