Yin Yoga

This program is for people affected by cancer (from diagnosis, during treatment and after treatment) including their family members and carers.

Yin Yoga is a gentle, supported practice that encourages a deep state of relaxation, mindfulness, and bringing harmony between body and mind.

Led by Sarah (from Yoga with Sare), the two-hour sessions involve holding postures (asanas) for longer periods of time, with accessible support options such as chairs and blocks provided.

This practice encourages exploration of each asana to support the movement of energy within the body, an easing of joints, cartilage and connective tissues, and renewing the connection between the mind and body.

Whether you’re recovering from treatment or simply looking for a way to gently support your well-being, our Yin Yoga sessions offer space to pause, breathe, and restore. No experience is necessary, and postures are tailored to individual comfort and ability.

We encourage you to bring your own mat for comfort. No experience necessary.

It is essential that you register for every ENHANCE session you wish to attend before you attend and receive confirmation. This is to ensure the safety and welfare of all participants, CCACT staff, and session facilitators.

If you are not registered, unfortunately staff will have to turn you away from the session. Please register to avoid disappointment.

Sessions are opened monthly.

Check back here on the 2nd last Friday of this month, for next month's sessions.
