Cancer Council Helpline

The Cancer Council Helpline is a free, confidential telephone information and support service.

Our specially trained staff can answer your questions about all aspects of cancer, including prevention, early detection and treatment. They can also assist with practical and emotional support as well as referring you to appropriate services in the area.

Information about cancer can also be mailed to callers.

The Helpline is staffed Monday to Friday, from 9am – 5pm. Outside these hours, you can leave a message and we will call you back.

To contact the Cancer Council Helpline through an interpreter, phone the Translating and Interpreting Service on 13 14 50.

If you are hearing impaired you may wish to use the National Relay Service 13 36 77 (TTY/Voice).
