Doug Russell Memorial Golf Day

Doug Russell was a former golf professional at the Royal Canberra Golf Club who lost his battle with cancer in 1992. The Doug Russell Memorial Golf Day is an annual event dedicated to the memory of Doug and his wish to raise much needed funds for Cancer Council ACT. A not for profit organisation, Cancer Council ACT aims to promote a healthier community by reducing the incidence and impact of cancer in the ACT and surrounding regions through research, information, education and supportive care.

In 2013 the Doug Russell Memorial Golf Day will be held on Thursday 14 November.
